The Tensioned Advantage ceiling recessed electric screen series is designed with ceiling trim in place to conceal the rough opening, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work once the screen is installed. Its two-stage installation option allows the screen case to be installed during the rough-in construction stage, with the screen surface assembly added during the finishing stage. Sliding installation brackets offer mounting flexibility for easy attachment of the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

The Tensioned Advantage with SightLine introduces Da-Lite's innovative cable drop feature, SightLine, available with the reliable Tensioned Advantage (up to 177" Diagonal 16:9 and up to 182" Diagonal 16:10) electric screen, creating the illusion of a floating screen. This single roller design utilizes a suspension system with 3 or 4 thin cables, eliminating the need for a black drop—the black border above the projection screen. Traditionally, drop distance is specified during ordering; however, vertical placement of the screen is now adjustable, as the cables accommodate a range of drop distances up to 70" between the ceiling and the top of the screen, simplifying the ordering process. Furthermore, this feature provides usable space above the viewing area, preserving architectural aesthetics and offering space for camera or speaker placement.

With enhanced aesthetics, easy ordering, smooth installation, and future-proofing for height adjustability, this design bridges the gap between standard functionality and a stunning visual experience. The Tensioned Advantage with SightLine is also available in a 21:9 Ultrawide Format, meeting the emerging standard for hybrid video conferencing solutions. This format ensures all attendees, whether in person or virtual, are equitably visible and heard.
