Yamaha MDF3 MIDI Data Filer

This compact data storage unit is capable of storing bulk data from nearly any MIDI-equipped synthesizer, tone generator, or sequencer on convenient 3.5" 2HD/2DD floppy disks. The MDF3 is also able to record and play back sequencer data in real time, a feature which makes it handy for use as a portable sequencer. To put the MDF3 to work, you will need to connect it to at least one other MIDI device. If you own the Yamaha QX3 or a MIDI-equipped personal computer with a 3.5" disk drive, the MDF3 will also be able to read the data from disks you create with these devices, for maximum flexibility and convenience in data management.
