The Tensioned Advantage ceiling recessed electric screen series is designed with ceiling trim in place to conceal the rough opening, eliminating the need for additional trim work once the screen is installed. Its two-stage installation option allows the screen case to be installed during the rough-in construction stage, with the screen surface assembly added during the finishing stage. Sliding installation brackets provide mounting flexibility for easy attachment of the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

The Tensioned Advantage with SightLine includes Da-Lite's innovative cable drop feature, SightLine, available with the well-established Tensioned Advantage electric screen (up to 177" Diagonal 16:9 and up to 182" Diagonal 16:10). This feature creates the impression of a floating screen. Its single roller design incorporates a suspension system with 3 or 4 thin cables, eliminating the need for a black drop—the black border above the projection screen. Traditionally, drop distance was specified upon ordering; however, the vertical placement of the screen is now adjustable, with cables accommodating a range of drop distances up to 70" between the ceiling and the top of the screen, simplifying the ordering process. Additionally, this feature creates usable space above the viewing area, preserving architectural aesthetics and providing space for camera or speaker placement.

This design combines enhanced aesthetics, easy ordering, smooth installation, and future-proofing for height adjustability, achieving a balance between standard functionality and stunning visual appeal. The Tensioned Advantage with SightLine is also now available in a 21:9 Ultrawide Format, meeting the emerging standard for hybrid video conferencing solutions, where all attendees, whether in-person or virtual, are equitably seen and heard.
