The SC-1120 extends QSC’s commitment to the cinema market by delivering high-quality sound for small room systems. As part of the DCS Digital Cinema Series, the SC-1120 is a cost-effective screen channel loudspeaker designed for cinemas with a maximum screen-to-last-row distance of 35 feet (11 meters). It features a 12" (305 mm) woofer with a 2.5" (63 mm) voice coil for exceptional low-frequency reproduction. The LF driver transitions seamlessly to a high-frequency compression driver with a 1.75" (44 mm) voice coil, both housed in a single enclosure for simplified installation.
The SC-1120 provides 90° coverage, making it ideal for small room cinema sound applications. Its installation is straightforward: simply remove the SC-1120 from its carton and position it behind the screen. The enclosure is designed to be mounted on a platform, and its shallow depth (less than 12 inches or 305 mm) minimizes space requirements behind the screen, making it a practical solution for compact cinema setups.
