The Intellivox-DSX280 HD provides a constant sound pressure level over distances up to 35 meters, with the potential for extended range in favorable acoustical conditions. This system features twelve custom-designed 4” loudspeakers and four discretely controlled 1" dome tweeters, driven by a sixteen-channel class-D amplifier and a sophisticated switched-mode power supply for long-term reliability.

Equipped with individually driven, horn-loaded dome tweeters, the DSX HD units offer precise high-frequency vertical beam control while enhancing horizontal coverage. This design improves the system’s subjective sound quality, making it suitable for both speech and music applications.

An array of surveillance functions ensures compliance with the rigorous requirements of Voice Alarm (life safety) applications. The unit can be managed with proprietary WinControl software, allowing user-friendly control of beam steering, audio processing, presets, and surveillance features. With a compact array length, the Intellivox-DSX280 HD integrates seamlessly into architecturally sensitive environments. Low-frequency response can be extended by pairing the system with a JBL subwoofer.
