The Electro-Voice Model PL 10 is a professional quality, dynamic, cardioid microphone created especially for music recording and live sound reinforcement applications requiring a flat frequency response over a very wide range. The extended frequency response, coupled with an excellent transient response, makes the PL 1 O easily comparable to the finest microphones for pickup of musical instruments or voices. The PL 10 is virtually free of bass-boosting "proximity effect" when used close to a sound source because the PL 10 is a Continuously Variable-Cl® microphone.
