The dmXLAN switch8LX range is based on a high specification 10/100 MBit Ethernet layer 2 switching engine with optimized controller CPU, featuring 8 programmable network ports, and programmable static multicast routing. The dmXLAN switch8LX has been specifically designed for live entertainment applications where a mixture of data protocols can overload and saturate commercially available network switches.
