Datavideo HDR40 DV/HDV Recorder-Player

The Datavideo HDR-40 is a hard drive based video recorder, with removable hard drive enclosure, designed for studio desktop applications. The HDR-40 records from both Standard and High Definition video equipment via SDI, with HDMI output, and convenient SDI loop through. The recorders provide a choice of 1080i, 720p, 576i and 480i recording formats. In HD with a choice of IBP or Intra-frame (i frame), and in SD IBP.

The recorded .M2T files are compatible with a wide range of NLE and play out solutions on the market, and once the recording have completed, the hard drive carrier simply ejects and via USB-2 connects to a PC or MAC based NLE system, (USB 2.0 power provided). Work directly from the removable drive, or copy video files across to the NLE's video drives. The remote control interface includes RS-422, RS-232 and GPI for easy integration with other equipment.
