The Tensioned Advantage ceiling-recessed electric screen series combines seamless integration with cutting-edge technology for an enhanced viewing experience. Designed with a ceiling trim that conceals the rough opening, this series eliminates the need for additional trim work once installed. It offers a two-stage installation process: the screen case can be mounted during the rough-in construction stage, while the screen surface assembly is completed during the finishing stage.
Featuring sliding installation brackets, the Tensioned Advantage allows for flexible mounting, making it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above a drop ceiling. With the addition of Da-Lite's innovative SightLine cable drop feature, available on screens up to 177" Diagonal 16:9 and 182" Diagonal 16:10, this model creates the impression of a floating screen. The single roller design with 3 or 4 thin cables eliminates the need for a traditional black drop, providing a clean, modern look.
Unlike conventional screens that require fixed drop distances, the SightLine feature accommodates variable vertical placements, with cables allowing up to 70" of drop distance between the ceiling and the top of the screen. This flexibility simplifies the ordering process and preserves architectural aesthetics by creating usable space above the viewing area for camera or speaker placement.
