The E8 is a high performance 2-way multipurpose loudspeaker, employing an integrated coaxial driver. The E8 can be used for speech and music applications as a stand-alone full range system, or incorporated into larger distributed sound reinforcement situations. With the addition of an E12X subwoofer in passive or active mode or any other E-Series subwoofer, it can also easily reproduce higher level music program. The multifaceted shape of the enclosure allows use either in an upright or horizontal orientation as well as deployment as a stage monitor. The 90° x 50° dispersion pattern (h x v) of the horn is easily rotatable through 90° to provide a 50° x 90° dispersion pattern. The E8 cabinet is constructed from polyurethane integral hard foam with an impact resistant paint finish incorporating a handle and a socket to accept loudspeaker stands. The loudspeaker cabinet is also available in Special Color (SC) and Weather Resistant (WR) options. The Weather Resistant option provides an IP54 rating, and enables operation of loudspeakers in changing ambient conditions. Both options are supplied with metal plates in the specified colour covering the handle recesses and loudspeaker stand socket.

The E15X-SUB is a compact, lightweight, high performance subwoofer for use with d&b E-Series loudspeakers. The built in passive crossover network allows the E15X-SUB to be operated in parallel to E12 or E12-D loudspeakers on the same amplifier channel, greatly extending the low frequency headroom and bandwidth of the systems. Alternatively it can be operated actively driven by its own amplifier channel without the need for any changes to the subwoofer. In Active mode the E15X-SUB can be used to supplement any of the E-Series cabinets. The E15X-SUB cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact resistant finish, a pair of handles and an M20 threaded flange on the top to accept the d&b loudspeaker stand winder. The loudspeaker cabinet is also available in Special Color (SC) and Weather Resistant (WR) options. The Weather Resistant option provides an IP55 rating, and enables operation of loudspeakers in changing ambient conditions.

The 5D is a Class D installation amplifier with flexible power distribution among its four output channels. It uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to incorporate loudspeaker-specific configurations for smaller loudspeakers from E-Series, xS-Series, xC- and T-Series, as well as equalization and delay functions. A linear setup is available allowing the amplifier to be used as a linear installation power amplifier. The amplifier has a dynamic range of 111 dB (Dante input, unweighted) and is designed to drive a selected range of d&b loudspeakers while providing comprehensive management and protection capabilities.
