Clay Paky Midi-B WW 19x 40-Watt RGBWarmWhite LED Moving Head
Midi-B is a new LED-based moving head luminaire featuring 19 40-watt RGBW LEDs, the same ones used in the popular HY B-EYE and Mini-B fixtures. Its zoom range of 4° to 50° allows for many applications.
Fixtures in this class are in high demand because they meet many needs, from the smallest venue to the largest show. With numerous choices available, this fixture stands out due to its highly competitive prices and performance. This makes it difficult for customers to decide which fixture to choose without sacrificing performance.
Claypaky’s Midi-B addresses these needs thanks to its impressive cost/performance ratio. The narrowest angle produces an ultra-dense beam, ideal for aerial effects. Midi-B transforms into an exceptional, uniform wash light at its widest zoom, and can replace much heavier and bulkier fixtures. The 19 LEDs are arranged in three independently controllable rings, which can be used for bright backlighting effects. Additional features of the Midi-B include colour macros, a 2500K to 8000K colour temperature control range, a 16-bit dimmer with four curves, a 25 flashes per second electronic strobe, and Ethernet access.
Following the success of the Mini-B Series, Claypaky has added lights equipped with Warm White RGB LEDs to its range. The power is the same as the original models, but these lights feature a natural colour temperature of 3200K. Midi-B WWs are bright, lightweight, and compact, making them ideal when warm colour tones and the ability to enhance the complexion of artists on stage are crucial factors in the lighting designer’s choice of units.
