Blue Dragonfly Microphone
Fast, maneuverable and beautifully engineered, the Dragonfly employs an innovative design that offers fine tuning and precise placement to please the most discerning recordist. The Dragonfly is a unique pressure-gradient cardioid condenser microphone, employing the Blue's hand-built single-membrane large diaphragm capsule coated with a 6-micron Mylar film of pure gold and aluminum. Enclosed within a rotating spherical grille, the capsule can be positioned and adjusted in the smallest spaces. Complete with an integrated elastic shockmount, the microphones electronics are based on a class A discrete circuit, with a transformer less output.
Warm Audio WA12 MKII
The engineers and artists at Warm Audio design their products out of need, and the world needed a super-clean preamp with character, and so the WA12 MKII was conceived. A quality preamp with high headroom, low noise, and an astounding amount of character, the WA12 MKII was designed around authentic Cinemag transformers and a custom discrete op-amp designed in-house at Warm, the X731.
The WA12 MKII’s design allows you to push the amp and transformers for a subtle saturation, and a special tone button on the front panel switches input impedance from 150 to 600 ohms, changing both the tone of the Hi-Z and microphone inputs, allowing you to experiment with the MKII’s exciting sonic potential. The WA12 MKII was designed to warm, color, and shape your signal with a true analog signal path that’s easy to use and exciting to hear.
