Description

DiGiCo Quantum 338 Console Theatrical Application Software

The Quantum 338T builds on the exceptional audio performance of the Quantum 338, designed specifically for theatrical engineers. It offers an enhanced workflow, integrating the Quantum Engine cue system with DiGiCo’s industry-leading Auto Update feature and advanced cue data management tools.

With Auto Update, designers can manage complex inter-cue relationships, automatically applying changes to channel settings across related cues. Cast changes are simplified through the Players function, and character variations due to costume or prop changes are handled seamlessly using the Alias function. The Quantum 338T retains the same channel processing and mixing functions as the live-focused Quantum 338, while adding individual nodal delays and matrix aliases for a more advanced crosspoint matrix system essential for complex theatre output processing.

The Quantum 338T is built on seventh-generation FPGAs, delivering 128 input channels, 64 busses, and a 24 x 24 matrix—all with full channel processing. It introduces a dark mode interface and features three 17-inch, 1000 nit multitouch screens, each displaying the meter bridge and soft quick select buttons. The console also includes 70 individual TFT channel displays and a floating chassis with 38 touch-sensitive faders in three blocks of 12 faders, plus two user-assignable faders, each with high-resolution metering.
