The d&b audiotechnik 30D is a four-channel installation amplifier engineered for medium-high SPL permanent systems.

Built on d&b's latest DSP platform, it delivers comprehensive signal processing with dual 16-band EQs, parametric/shelving/notch filters, and up to 10 seconds of delay per channel. Per-channel input gain, GPIO, and General Fault connectors enable seamless system integration and safety monitoring. Input, Load, and System Check functions verify loudspeaker and speaker cable health in real time. LoadMatch technology compensates for cable losses without additional conductors, preserving tonal accuracy across extended cable runs. Control via Ethernet (OCA/AES70) or CAN-Bus through the web interface or R1 Remote software provides flexible system management.

Class D amplification with active PFC ensures stable operation on weak mains supplies (100/127 V and 208/240 V, 50–60 Hz).

The amplifier accepts 4 analogue and 4 AES/EBU digital inputs on Euroblock connectors, with all 8 inputs available for simultaneous use, summing, and flexible routing to any output.
