Description

Yamaha DTX700SP Electronic Drum Kit

This kit includes the new DTX700 module featuring 1,268 percussive voices, 64MB of Flash-ROM for loading new sounds, and USB connectivity. The DTX-PADs provide superior feel around the entire kit, and the snare features 3-zones for dynamic head, rimshot, and cross-stick play. The DTX700SP includes a pad set (DTP700P), drum trigger module (DTX700) and rack system (RS500). Because this configuration does not include cymbals or hi-hat it is perfect when adding electronics to your acoustic kit or for use with the gen16 AE Cymbal box sets. Trigger and audio cables not included.

After years of designing and manufacturing some of the world’s finest drums, Yamaha knows what it means for drums to feel good and play naturally. We designed the DTX-PAD to be the new standard in electronic drum pads, providing drummers with a pad that feels good, offers playability that is as close as possible to acoustic drums, and is exceptionally quiet. Teaming up with the world’s top drummers to satisfy their demanding sense of perfection, we focused our knowledge and experience and created the DTX-PAD. This next generation drum pad allows for true development of acoustic drumming techniques. The DTX700SP utilizes a 3-zone XP80 DTX-PAD for the snare, with single-zone XP70 DTX-PADs for the toms.
