The professional small-format, surface-mount loudspeaker system is a two-way full-range design utilizing Directivity Matched Transition (DMT) to ensure low and high-frequency coverage alignment at the crossover point. The low-frequency transducer features an 8-inch (203 mm) woofer with a weather-resistant paper cone and a 2-inch voice coil, while the high-frequency transducer includes a 1-inch (25 mm) compression driver with a 1.4-inch voice coil coupled to a baffle-integrated waveguide. The system operates in direct low-impedance mode or over a 70/100V distributed audio line via a built-in low-saturation transformer.
Performance highlights include an effective frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz (free-field, -10 dB from on-axis sensitivity), a broad-band sensitivity of 90 dB SPL (on-axis, free-field sensitivity, 2.83V, 1 m), and a maximum rated SPL of 113 dB continuous and 119 dB peak. The loudspeaker has a rated power capacity of 40V or 200W (two hours, IEC60268 noise), a recommended amplifier power of 400W, and a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms. The system provides a 105-degree axisymmetric coverage angle (-6 dB).
The input panel includes a sealed Euroblock connector and parallel output terminals, protected by a weatherproof cup. The ABS polymer enclosure meets IEC60529 IP-54 specifications for dust and splash resistance and is available in black (RAL 9011) or white (RAL 9010). The front grille is a powder-coated aluminum design free of logos or embellishments.
The enclosure is equipped with an integral QSC X-Mount system for rotational mounting in four orientations, theft resistance via a removable tab, and four M10 threaded-insert mounting points for suspension or optional yoke bracket mounting. Dimensions are 17.3 in (440 mm) high, 10 in (254 mm) wide, and 9.8 in (251 mm) deep, with a net weight of 24.1 lb (11 kg).
