The d&b audiotechnik U7 has dual 8" bipole drivers paired with a 1.26" compression driver mounted on a rotatable 80° × 55° horn to provide directivity control and efficiency.
The loudspeaker features advanced horn geometry and bass-reflex ports to extend LF response to 55 Hz (−5 dB) while maintaining consistent 80° horizontal dispersion and 55° vertical directivity from 500 Hz upward. It also includes tool-free horn rotation enabling quick deployment adjustments.
The loudspeaker features a hybrid power topology, running on AC, PoE++, or both simultaneously, with single‑cable operation carrying power, signal, control, and monitoring, while dual‑cable redundancy (2× PoE++ + 2× Milan) supports mission‑critical installations and ensures compatibility with the DN2 Milan PoE++ switch or equivalent third‑party PoE++ hardware.
