Peyote Pizza Brakyz is a salute to the classic battle records of the '90s, refashioned with that unmistakable Mad Decent sound. Paul Devro, Mad Decent's DJ and creative director, built 5 scratch battle tracks by going through the label's archives with a fine tooth comb and plucking out his favorite bits. The result is a collage of jersey club, dancehall, EDM and hip hop breaks scattered with weird and wonderful vocals of Riff Raff, Blaqstarr and Nicky da B. It's party music, primarily, and a celebration of classic scratch records, pizza and Mad Decent.
