Linksys EF31SC EtherFast 100BaseFX SC Fiber Module

The EtherFast 100BaseFX SC Fiber Module from Linksys adds fiber optic connectivity to an EtherFast 3116 or 3124 network switch. This allows the switch to communicate with other fiber optic network devices, at distances of up to 6560' (2km). Speeds of up to 200Mbps are possible over the maximum distance, making this is a great way to connect remote networks together.

  • Compliant with the 100BASE-FX IEEE 802.3u standard
  • Installs in the expansion port of the EF3116 or EF3124 switch
  • Maximum data throughput of 200Mbps
  • Fiber optic cable can be run over distances of up to 6560' (2km)
  • On-board mini-jumper toggles between Half-Duplex and Full-Duplex operation
