WE CARE ABOUT YOUR SOUND

RCF

Incorporating a variety of transducers that cover the entire audio spectrum, the RCF OEM loudspeaker line is designed to optimize the purity of sound, featuring an absence of distortion while also able to sustain extremely high power levels over a long period of time. Boasting over 70 years of experience in the market, RCF prides itself on the development of advanced transducer technology that utilizes high-tech materials like Neodymium, Carbon Fiber, Pure Titanium, Kevlar, Kapton, and Mylar hybrids.
Started in 1949 in the Italian town of Reggio Emilia, RCF began with three founders that had a revolutionary vision for the future of sound when they manufactured early microphones and OEM loudspeakers, considered niche technology at the time. The company evolved during the 1950s into the producers of a robust line of public address equipment. The professional market was their next target which led to the design and manufacturing of transducers.
The 1960s were a time of great change for concert sound and RCF was perfectly positioned to service the needs of a coming generation. Transitioning from small acoustic gatherings to big venues and outdoor spaces required the electric amplification of voices and other low-volume instruments. Due to its in-depth knowledge of transducers and electronics, RCF was able to develop complete audio systems, making them a leading light in multiple audio markets over the course of many decades.

The Italian powerhouse conquered the consumer market in the 70s with its very successful Hi-Fi home speaker line. These were highly coveted cabinets and amplifiers that included the BR 40, a standard that was found in every audiophile’s home system. The 1980s brought automobile audio to the forefront and RCF responded with a line of carbon fiber car speakers.
Arguably two of the most important milestones in the history of RCF were the introductions of the ART series and the TT+ Line. The ART series launched with the ART 300-A, a mobile, composite material loudspeaker with unrivaled sound quality. It was the ART series that cemented RCF as a global leader in the manufacturing of active loudspeakers. The TT+ High Definition Touring and Theatre Line was responsible for RCF’s domination of the install market. The TT+ line was the flagship RCF touring solution and was designed to achieve maximum performance in live concerts, performing arts, sporting events, speech reinforcement, and fixed installations.

The HDL product line has been an undeniable success for RCF. It started with the launch of the HDL 20-A, a line array in composite material that quickly became the top speaker of its kind. To this day, the HDL system is flexible enough to cover all the acoustic needs of sound engineers and the demands of all types of venues, from small rooms to outdoor arenas.
RCF’s entry into the mixing console market made a big splash nearly a decade ago and is being utilized by both musicians and professionals to this day. The M18 is an innovative all-in-one small-format mixer with on-board WiFi access point that can control up to 19 effects.
